Kia Carens Clavis, now available with new HTE(EX) trim

One of India’s most loved family movers, the Kia Carens Clavis, is now available in a brand-new, feature-packed HTE(EX) trim. Priced competitively starting at ₹12,54,900*, the new variant strengthens the Carens Clavis portfolio by offering customers enhanced comfort, convenience, and value, without compromising on performance or practicality.

Availability across powertrain
Developed in response to extensive customer feedback and evolving market preferences, the HTE(EX) trim is available across all ICE powertrains. Customers can choose from the G1.5 petrol, G1.5 turbo-petrol, and D1.5 diesel engines, ensuring flexibility to suit varied driving needs. The new trim is offered exclusively in a 7-seater configuration, reinforcing the Carens Clavis’ positioning as a versatile and family-friendly vehicle.

New Features
The HTE(EX) trim introduces several comforts and convenience features that customers in this segment have consistently sought. Notably, it marks the first-time introduction of a skylight electric sunroof in the G1.5 petrol powertrain of the Carens Clavis, enhancing the sense of openness and comfort within the cabin.

Positioned above the existing HTE(O), the HTE(EX) further elevates the ownership experience with features such as Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) for improved climate comfort, LED DRLs and position lamps that enhance exterior appeal, LED cabin lamps for better interior illumination, and an auto up/down driver-side power window for added ease and safety. Together, these enhancements make premium features more accessible to a wider customer base.

Conclusion
With the addition of the HTE(EX) trim, Kia India continues to refine and expand the Carens Clavis (ICE) lineup, staying closely aligned with customer expectations and market demand. By combining thoughtful features, multiple powertrain options, and strong value, Kia reinforces its commitment to delivering well-rounded products that seamlessly blend design, technology, and everyday practicality for Indian families.
